Comments: Stopped on Lap 4, Morris had led all the way with Cook close behind, Morris slowed suddenly bend 2 lap 4 (due to what looked to texter like a broken chain) and lifted across track, Cook can't avoid collecting him and they both come down.. Morris excluded. No announcement yet on if it'll be awarded. Morris up but Cook still receiving treatment. Cook sitting up and talking to the paramedics. Cook now up on his feet and walked gingerly into ambulance. Race now announced as Awarded
Delay while Cook is looked over.

Line Up: Hume, Nicol, Coles, Dan
Comments: Great gate from Hume who leads all the way, Nicol left at the gate but cuts under Lions off bend 2 lap 1. Hume has a couple of hairy moments on last couple of laps but was well clear by then, Nicol under a bit of pressure from Coles for 2 laps before pulling away.

Line Up: Ostergaard, Basso, Worrall, Joe
Comments: Worrall gates and leads, Basso tried to charge under him into bend 3 lap 1 but Worrall holds on, Basso then all over Worrall for rest of the race he cuts back off bend 2 lap 4 and forces his way past Worrall into bend 3, Worrall comes back at him on the run to line but Basso holds him off by half a bikes length.

Comments: Nicol with the best gate and leads all the way. Howarth runs Brennan wide on the opening bends and Thompson slips through into 3rd, Brennan passes Thompson on inside of bend 3 lap 1, Howarth goes wide bends 3&4 Lap 1 and Brennan takes 2nd, Howarth then repasses him on the home straight. Race then spread out from there.

Comments: Ostergaard flies from gate to take lead, Basso misses the gate and is last off bend 2 but rounds Mountain bend 3 lap 1, Morris is all over Ostergaard for the first 3 laps and Basso is snapping at Morris's heels. Basso charges under Morris into bend 1 lap 4 to take 2nd, Great ride by Basso!

Comments: Tight first bend between Howarth and Ostergaard but Howarth edges ahead off bend 2, Howarth then edges clear as the race goes on to win with ease, Coles tailed off at the back.

Comments: Howarth Tac Sub. Lions make gate but Brennan forces himself under Worrall bend 2 lap 1. Worrall close to Brennan throughout without ever looking like passing. Hume missed the gate and never made the ground back up.
