Comments: Oxford win toss and take Gates 2 + 4.
This race had to be re-run twice because Clouting touched the tapes and was replaced by Butcher. In the re-run Butcher caused Dan to fall followed by Simpson who had to lay his bike down. Butcher was excluded from the re re-run. For the third attempt it was close throughout between Jenkins and Dan.

Comments: A nice move from Joe on Jenkins to gain the lead during the first lap. Jenkins was hogging the inside line but Joe went round the outside.

Comments: This heat had to go to a re-run after first bend bunching saw both Cubs hit the deck. At the second attempt both Cubs gated with Scott eventually splitting them.
