Heat Results
Heat 01: Doyle, Lambert, Harris, Summers 59.6 3-3
Line Up: Harris, Lambert, Doyle, Summers
Comments: Doyle quickly away and dominant on first bend off gate 4. Summers briefly in third place, but slow-starting Harris cut underneath Summers off the second bend and sat behind Lambert for the rest of the race.
Supported by Maitland Travel www.maitlandtravel.co.uk - providers of Speedway Holidays and bespoke travel all over the world
Heat 02: Nicholls, Starke, Rowe, Jenkins 59.7 3-3, 6-6
Line Up: Nicholls, Jenkins, Starke, Rowe
Comments: Essentially from the gate, after a tight first bend. Rowe tried a couple of lines, but then sat behind Starke, and Jenkins never challenged.
Supported by MADDRUM5 www.youtube.com/user/MADDRUM5/videos
Heat 03: Basso, Tungate, Batchelor, Lambert 59.0 3-3, 9-9
Line Up: R/R - Lambert, Basso, Batchelor, Tungate
Comments: Basso quickly away, and Tungate chasing actually looked quicker - almost ran into Basso on bend 2 lap 2. Tried a few lines but never really challenged again. Batchelor took third place steadily ahead of fellow upright-style Lambert, who also tried a couple of lines without actually putting on a lot of pressure.

Heat 04: Pickering, Jenkins, Starke, Rowe (EX), King (XT) 59.4. 5-1, 14-10
Line Up: Pickering, Jenkins,King Starke, Rowe
Comments: Movement at the tapes by both Witches riders, and although Rowe twitched, it was King who drove forward and took the bottom tape with him. King excluded, Rowe warned. Starke replaces King - I'm a little surprised, because it would be good to get King on track, and he might fancy his chances of catching Jenkins?
Re-run: Panthers gate and lead comfortably off the second bend. Rowe inside Starke seems to catch his teammate off the second bend, who falls heavily into the back straight fence at high speed ... Starke down, no replay on TV as yet ...
Sam Ermolenko interviews Danny King in pits, who says that his clutch went at the start - which probably explains why he wasn't available for the re-run.
Starke up and walking back to the pits. Replay shows that Rowe lifted off the second bend and clattered into the side of Starke. Rowe excluded.
Starke interviewed by Abi Stephens - says that he saw Rowe lifting and did his best to get off his bike. A bit battered, but will be in the re-run.

UPDATED: British Final confirmed for Sunday, 18 September at Belle Vue, and it will be shown live by Eurosport 15:00 meeting start.
Heat 05: Doyle, Summers, Basso, Nicholls 59.7 1-5, 15-15
Line Up: R/R - Nicholls, Basso, Doyle, Summers
Comments: Essentially FTG. Doyle emerged from tight first couple of bends on the outside of Summers and sat with him for a lap and a bit, before heading off to the the win. Basso looked quick, but after trying an outside run on 3rd/4th bend of lap three, seemed to lose ground.
Supported by Splod
Heat 06: Lambert, King, Harris, Rowe 59.7 4-2, 19-17
Line Up: Harris, Lambert, King,Starke Rowe
Comments: King looked to have made the best start, clamping Harris on first bend, but Lambert flew around the outside of bend 2 and then rode really comfortably to take an unexpected, although very well deserved, victory. Harris never close to King.

Heat 07: Tungate, Pickering, Nicholls, Batchelor 59.2 3-3, 22-20
Line Up: Pickering, Nicholls, Batchelor, Tungate
Comments: Witches on a 4-2 for the first lap, with Pickering at the back. Batchelor followed Nicholls on the white line and Pickering simply raced around the outside of both of them of bend 2, lap 2. Tungate a long way ahead. Batchelor, as he often does when at the back, gave up on the last bend to coast home.

Heat 08: Lambert, Summers, Jenkins, Rowe 59.7 4-2, 26-22
Line Up: Lambert, Jenkins, Summers, Rowe
Comments: Great start by the Panthers. Summers managed to work his way between them on the 3rd/4th bend Lap 1, but Lambert rode comfortably to victory, and Rowe, disappointingly for the Witches, was never close.
Supported by Scorpions TV - Never Miss a Sting! link
Heat 09: Basso, Nicholls, King, Starke 59.7 5-1, 31-23
Line Up: R/R - Nicholls, Basso, King, Starke
Comments: Nicholls hit the front, with King challenging him, but Basso just launched himself hard inside on bend 3, lap 1, and then went outside Nicholls to race off to victory - great ride!
Supported by NL Speedway, follow on Twitter and Instagram
Heat 10: Tungate, Batchelor, Harris, Lambert 59.9 1-5, 32-28
Line Up: Harris, Lambert, Batchelor, Tungate
Comments: Witches gate, and Batchelor gives Harris no space on the outside of the first bend. Harris battles past Lambert and then sets off after Batchelor, who suddenly looks very competitive, and rode an excellent defensive line, cutting off Harris' run on the inside of the final bend.

Ermolenko interviews Benjamin Basso, wanting to talk about his excellent ride, but they've got the wrong heat! Then they manage to sort it out. Basso speaking in excellent, fluent English explains how much he likes the Peterborough track. Then said that after riding in Bydgoszcz yesterday, they drove to Denmark, before flying back for tonight's match!
Heat 11: Pickering, Doyle, Summers, Nicholls 60.2 3-3, 35-31
Line Up: Pickering, Nicholls, Doyle, Summers
Comments: Another tight first bend - Pickering this time is the one to give Doyle a shove, and the Panthers emerge on a 5-1. Doyle eventually switches to the outside to pass Nicholls on the outside of bends 3/4, lap 2, and then Summers keeps Nicholls guessing for the final couple of laps before cutting back off the last bend to snatch third place.
Supported by STEVE REED says "NHS SCREENING COULD SAVE YOUR LIFE"
Heat 12: Jenkins, Basso, Batchelor, Rowe 60.0 5-1, 40-32
Line Up: R/R - Basso, Jenkins, Batchelor,Starke Rowe
Comments: Super start by Jenkins to take the lead, and Batchelor challenged him for the first lap and half, but got himself into no-man's land and Basso came through easily to take second place. Again, Rowe never in it.
Supported by Speedway Fantasy League - www.speedwayleague.net
Heat 13: Doyle, Pickering, King, Harris (Ret) 60.1 2-4, 42-36
Line Up: Harris, Pickering, Doyle, King
Comments: Harris' hand goes up at the start, but the tapes rise soon after, and he's left. Doyle and King look like they are team riding to a 5-1, but Pickering surges underneath both of them going into 3rd bend lap 2, and Doyle has to work really hard for the next lap to hang on to first place. King settles for third, and there's a six point gap, going into Heat 14 ...

Heat 14: Doyle, Basso, Tungate, Nicholls 60.1 2-4, 44-40
Line Up: Basso, Nicholls, Tungate,Rowe Doyle
Comments: Doyle as the T/S. Doyle into the lead with Tungate squeezed by the Panthers on the first bend. Nicholls went very wide on bend 4 lap 2, and Tungate gratefully rode through on the inside to take third - to set up a last heat decider. Will we see the Stupid Heat?

Steve Brandon interviews Ritchie Hawkins - Tungate and Doyle off 1 & 3. Doyle often takes worst gate and makes it work, so hopefully they can do it. Tough night, reserves wiped each other out - reserves win meetings, but we haven't had that.
Rob Lyon chooses Basso off gate 2 and Josh Pickering off 4. Want to finish the season on a feel good factor.
SPOILER ALERT: Final update from Dave Rowe at Belle Vue - the Aces have taken a comfortable win at home to Sheffield, defeating the Tigers 54-36. Howarth had a bad crash, but has walked away.
Heat 15: Doyle, Tungate, Pickering, Basso 60.5 1-5, 45-45
Line-up: Basso, Pickering, Tungate, Doyle
Comments: All from the gate, with Witches dominant on the first lap.

Here we go with the "Super Heat" ... when it was first revealed, I e-mailed the BSPA and SCB to ask why. Neil Vatcher replied to say that it would make a drawn match more exciting ... apparently 45-45 seems to be the least exciting result? It's a joke isn't it.

Steve Brandon interviews Ritchie Hawkins - Witches win the toss and have chosen the same riders on the same gates as Heat 15. Rob Lyon has decided to go for Pickering off 2 and Basso off 4 (swapped from Heat 15).
Super Heat: Doyle, Tungate, Pickering, Basso 2-7 Witches win!
Line-up: Pickering, Basso, Tungate, Doyle
Comments: What a race! Pickering had the lead, but Doyle went around the outside on the 3rd/4th bend. Basso then charged inside Tungate to take third and it looked like the Panthers would do enough to win. Basso then completely missed bend 1 on lap 3, and Tungate was through to the vital third place. On the final bend, Tungate rode wide and passed Pickering off the last bend - superb effort.
Abi Stephens and Sam Ermolenko interview Jason Doyle. Very happy with the win - hard track, because you can be vulnerable. Sweating buckets ater four rides on the spin!
