Comments: Pirates gate and had a good lead going into the last lap. Joe found some extra speed and fires past Zach before setting off after Ablitt, he puts Ablitt under pressure who falls and whilst this was happening Zach was back past Joe.

Comments: The heat had to be re-run as Lawson was moving at the start and received a warning. In the re-run it was neck and neck between Lawson and Howarth going into the second bend but Howarth went far too wide and was relegated into 3rd.
