Heat Results
Heat 01: Musielak, Doyle, Hume, Kerr 62.73 3-3
Line Up: Musielak, Kerr, Doyle, Hume
Comments: Effectively FTG, with Musielak dominating the first bend. Doyle passed Hume on the outside of b3/4, L4. Squall: Doyle didn't seem impressed with Hume after the race.
Supported by Maitland Travel www.maitlandtravel.co.uk - providers of Speedway Holidays and bespoke travel all over the world
Heat 02: Gilkes, Howarth, Thompson, Rew 63.15 5-1, 8-4
Line Up: Howarth, Gilkes, Rew, Thompson
Comments: FTG, with Howarth sitting behind Gilkes. Thompson tried hard on outside of first two bends, but never challenged, and Rew was tailed-off from the start. Squall: Would you believe some "fan" suggested Gilkes be dropped due to poor form
Heat 03: Ellis, Barker, King, Bellego 62.35 3-3, 11-7
Line Up: Ellis, Bellego, King, Barker
Comments: Ellis all the way round the outside bends 1&2, for a comfortable win. Bellego all the way round the white line for a comfortable last. Squall: Pateience for Bellego is running on empty ...
Supported by andout www.canadianspeedway.com
Heat 04: Sayfutdinov, Holder, Thompson, Gilkes 61.78 2-4, 13-11
Line Up: Holder, Gilkes, Sayfutdinov, Thompson
Comments: Sayfutdinov on a different planet - even was able to clout the back straight fence on the way in to B3, L3 without any problem. Super effort by Thompson to claim and hold on to third. Squall: Fantastic from Emil to hang back to congratulate Thompson on getting 3rd. Don't see that very often.
Supported by Friends of Edinburgh Speedway www.foes.info/
Heat 05: Doyle, Ellis, Bellego, Hume 61.58 3-3, 16-14
Line Up: Ellis, Bellego, Doyle, Hume
Comments: Doyle also in a different postcode, round the outside of Ellis to win by a distance. Bellego never troubled by Hume. Squall: Bit rubbish this Doyle kid ...
Supported by Rails of Sheffield
Heat 06: Sayfutdinov, Musielak, Kerr, Rew 61.70 3-3, 19-17
Line Up: Musielak, Kerr, Sayfutdinov, Rew
Comments: No repeat of Monday's phenomenal race, as Sayfutdinov wins by the veritable country mile from Musielak. Squall: Maybe a bold statement, but Emil is the only man on the planet that would have stopped Zmarzlik taking the world title this year.
Supported by Memories Of Poole Pirates Speedway Club www.facebook.com/groups/859822440748832/
Heat 07: Holder, Howarth, King, Barker 62.71 5-1, 24-18
Line Up: Holder, Howarth, King, Barker
Comments: Great ride by Howarth to hold Barker wide on first couple of bends. Witches pair racing each other at the back.

Track watering and grading.
Heat 08: Kerr, Gilkes, Hume, Thompson 62.90 5-1, 29-19
Line Up: Kerr, Gilkes, Hume, Thompson
Comments: FTG. Kerr looked for Gilkes, but they were fairly clear - Hume tried hard on last lap. Squall: Heat 9s tac sub was written in my programme, in ink, before heat 8 had finished.
Supported by Scorpions TV - Never Miss a Sting! link
Heat 09: Doyle, Sayfutdinov, Bellego, Ellis 61.95 1-5, 30-24
Line Up: Ellis, Bellego, Sayfutdinov,Rew T/S Doyle
Comments: No surprise, other than Bellego needed to be passed by both Witches off Bend 2. Squall: Funnily enough, I'd written the heat 9 result in during heat 8 too ...
Supported by NL Speedway, follow on Twitter and Instagram
Heat 10: Musielak, King, Kerr, Barker 62.97 4-2, 34-26
Line Up: Musielak, Kerr, King, Barker
Comments: King hung on around the outside of Kerr to pull clear at the en of Lap 1. Barker made up ground on Kerr, but couldn't get close enough to make a serious challenge. Squall: A lot of time and money could have been saved if they'd just ran each heat over 1 lap.

Heat 11: Doyle, Holder, Howarth, Hume 62.87 3-3, 37-29

Heat 12: Howarth, Ellis, King, Rew 63.55 5-1, 42-30
Line Up: Ellis,Gilkes Howarth, King, Rew
Comments: Reserve switch by Sheffield. Untroubled from the start. Have to feel sorry for Gilkes ...
Supported by Speedway Fantasy League - www.speedwayleague.net
Heat 13: Sayfutdinov, Holder, Musielak, Doyle 61.58 3-3, 45-33
Line Up: Musielak, Holder, Doyle, Sayfutdinov
Comments: Sayfutdinov around the outside Bends 1 & 2 and away he went. Doyle of Gate 2 was trapped at the back, and never got close to Musielak. Squall: Bit of an anti-climax after Monday. Emil is a class above.
Supported by Vin's Ices @ Sheffield Speedway- the best ice cream in British speedway!
Heat 14: Bellego, Howarth, Thompson, Barker 64.03 5-1, 50-34
Line Up: Bellego, Howarth, Barker, Thompson
Comments: Bellego round the outside. Howarth off the graveyard Gate 2 - easy to see where Ipswich have problems! PS: Barker got a puncture, which allowed Thompson to take third. Squall: Speaking for myself, I never doubted Bellego for a single minute. What a rider. Ordering my David Bellego hoodie and snapback.

Heat 15: Sayfutdinov, Doyle, Ellis, Musielak (Ret) 61.85 1-5, 51-39
Line-up: Ellis, Musielak, Doyle, Sayfutdinov.
Comments: Witches in 1&3. Squall: I'd love to know how much Ellis is paying Stead for these heat 15s ...
Sayfutdinov away and gone. Doyle outside Ellis on back straight lap 1. Musielak retired on bend 2 - in the replay you could see that Sayfutdinov held him high into the deep stuff, which left Musielak nowhere to go, and he wasn't happy. Squall: So, to summarise, a rider must fall off for a rerun. Paying fans are robbed, again, of seeing the top 4 riders in heat 15, and Emil is just that good he does Tony Rickardsson impressions! Oldcynic: I reckon that if Musielak had fallen, "I" Durno would have excluded him.
Oldcynic: Does anyone else think that Sayfutdinov's white helmet makes him look like a Storm Trooper?
