Comments: Mountain gates but focused too much on Kemp round the first bend. Thompson comes round the outside and they’re level down the backstraight. Thompson gets the edge off Bend 4 and that was that.

Comments: Lidsey gates, moved Becker in to Masters' path which let Cook cutback for second. Both Lions try to go round Cook on Bend 3&4 Lap 1 but only Masters manages it. Masters then tries everything to pass Lidsey.

Comments: Bewley and Thompson gate. Bewley opts to run wide and leaves a huge gap for Douglas to come through. Bewley then all over them. Douglas leaves Thompson to fend for himself on the last lap and Bewley goes under him down the backstraight.

Comments: Lidsey gates. Cook tried the outside run round the opening bends but it’s crap and he ends up last. Kemp in Douglas’s way a lot of the time and Douglas is almost in the fence on Bend 2 Lap 3 which allows Cook into third.
