Heat Results
Heat 01: Madsen, Wozniak, Bewley, Kvech (F-rem) 63.436
Line Up: Madsen, Wozniak, Bewley, Kvech
Comments: Some sort of problem with the automatic starting procedure. Second attempt, they got away. Bizarre incident on the inside of the second bend, with Kvech falling next to the very wet inside kerb - the front wheel just went away from him - behind Wozniak. Bewley assumed the race would be stopped and slowed, but no red light. Madsen away and gone. Wozniak safely in second. Kvech actually got up and finished the race.

Heat 02: Lebedevs, Michelsen, Malik, Holder 64.064
Line Up: Milik, Holder, Michelsen, Lebedevs
Comments: Lebedevs dominant from the start, and managed to hang on ahead of Michelsen who looked quicker. Michelsen tried the outside line bend 3 lap 4, and then cut back, but was a bike's length behind. Holder never really got close to Malik.
Supported by Friends Of Steve Casey - Always An Ace
Heat 03: Fricke, Lambert, Kubera, Lindgren 63.419

Andzejs Lebedevs: Big, big work to get the meeting on. Track is nice, I think we will get some good racing.
Tatum says they will spend about 4 minutes grading the track. Gates 1 & 2 have 1 win each, Gate 3 none, and Gate 4 = 2. Gate 3 not great here - Chris Louis says traditionally Gate 4 isn't the best. Tatum: Roll of the dice from the riders with no opportunity to practice - loose top surface, expect lots of adjustments by riders. No doubt that this meeting would not have gone ahead without the covers. Water going down on the track!
Heat 05: Vaculik, Lindgren, Madsen, Milik 63.792
Line Up: Vaculik, Madsen, Milik, Lindgren
Comments: Essentially FTG. System gave Lindgren as the "Firestarter" but Vaculik took the quicker inside line.

Gate 1: 31 pts, Gate 2: 27 pts, Gate 3: 11 pts, Gate 4: 27 pts
Greg Hancock: Max Fricke has got everything to gain, and he looks really, really solid. Tai Woffinden is really struggling - he's not moving off the line much, doesn't seem confident with his machinery, needs to find his mojo. Has got a great team around him. When it's like that you need a couple of good races, one good meeting, to prove to yourself you are still a World Champ and can ride like one.
Abi Stephens unable to get a word with Fricke, who said he will speak later.
