Comments: Fast start by Zischke, with Kemp in close quarters outside. Thompson rode a strong outside line to get third off the second bend. Kemp outside Zizchke going in to b3, and then Zischke lost his back wheel on b4, and slid off in a 180,. Thompson avoided him. Zischke remounted to finish. Mulford never close.

Comments: STOPPED: Lions away again. Zischke tried the outside line off b2, but was blocked by Howarth. Going in to b3, Zischke stuck outside Cook failed to turn and slid into the b4 air fence, his machine getting stuck underneath it. Zischke excluded.

Comments: A pass! Masters dominated opening bends, with Lidsey claiming second. Kemp tried outside line, and on b4, L2 Kemp seemed to spin and lose some grip, and Cook got under him, making a bit of contact down the home straight.

Comments: Blödorn in the lead for the first three ends before Fricke went smoothly round him to take the lead down the home straight.

Line Up: Douglas, Howarth, R/R - Lidsey,Zischke T/S Bewley
Comments: Howarth in the lead for three laps, blocking a couple of Bewley's move, but Howarth chose the wrong line on b1/2 L4, and Bewley came under him very easily. Early on, Douglas had produced a hard inside pass of Lidsey off b4, L1.

Comments: FTG. Cook tried to get alongside Douglas off b2, L3, but Douglas kept control of second place without any fuss.

Comments: Kemp briefly held second on the opening lap, but Blödorn got outside him on b4. Bewley couldn't find a way through with Kemp and Blödorn occupying the track ahead of him. As Blödorn got clearer, there was more space, and Bewley line-up and outside pass off b2, L3, just as Kemp put up his hand with his engine losing power.

Comments: Douglas away. Thompson in contention early on, but Zischke came under him on b3 L1, and although looking unsteady he held the line, while Thompson was in no-man's land and Lidsey also came under. On b4, L3, Zischke went far too wide, but clung on grimly and Thompson couldn't make up the ground.

Comments: STOPPED: Bewley picked up grip not he back straight and threw Bewley off the back! The riders behind thankfully avoided him, although Bewley staying down. Re-run shows that Bewley clonked the fence. Blödorn did very well to avoid the crash. Bewley up and limping - left knee, and he's got some skin damage, bruises to his right arm. Bewley excluded.
Re-run: Blödorn away, even through Fricke twitched. Masters tried the first challenge, but on b2 L2, Fricke took Masters' line away and set off on the chase, while Masters decided to sit a long way back. Fricke outside Blödorn off b2, L3.
