Fisher made a lightening start, Mear on his tail all the way, then cut back on last bend but Fisher held on. Looked like a Mear win from where Shadders is standing, it was that close!

Heat 02: Re-run Bowen,Burrows,Jakobsen,Halsey(F/Ex) 3-3 58.7 6-6
Halsey excluded for falling bend 3, Burrows had just passed him and Halsey got out of shape. In the re-run, Bowen cut back to take the lead bend 2 and powered away for an easy win.

Ekberg RR. All 4 back, unsatisfactory start, generous to the Potters. In re-run, Barker hard under Allen bend 1 lap 2, Allen went sliding into the fence, Allen excluded from the re-run. At the time, Ekberg was miles ahead and Kristiansen miles behind. In the re-re-run, Ekberg powered round the Potters 2nd bend, Kristiansen did a fantastic job holiding Barker up for 2 laps, hats off to that man!

Fisher taking a tactical ride. A coming together between Fisher,Neath and Halsey. All 4 back but will be a delay while the fence and bikes are repaired. In the re-run, Neath got away quicker, Fisher had a go back a lap later before Neath pulled away. Halsey engine failure while in last place.

Rockets win the toss and take 1 and 3
Burrows fell bend 2 unaided when last, all 4 back amazingly, crazy decision! Bowen was leading at the time. In the re-run, Smith outside Burrows bend 2 lap 2, Burrows had bike trouble or gave up...you decide! Meanwhile Bowen was reeling Fisher in and almost got him on the line.
