Allen locked up on 3rd bend leaving Mills in a spot of bother. Ward hard under Mills entering bend 1 lap 3, Mills fell but remounted. Nicki would've been proud of that move!

Schramm passed but Allen quickly repayed the compliment. Allen out of shape on final lap, almost clattering into fence, allowing Schramm to take third.

Heat 16: ALLEN, Ward, Topinka, Doolan 62.10
Line-up: Ward, Topinka, DOOLAN, ALLEN
Comments: Both Doolan and Allen are on Tactical rides (Heat 16 - Go Figure .) STARS off 2 & 4. Allen and Ward side by side for first lap and Allen took Ward wide enough to allow Doolan through into second. Ward then spent the rest of the race scraping the fence (deciding to take the long way, obviously had a full tank), finally got by Doolan at end of lap 3 and lost to Allen by a slim margin on the line. Topinka managed to pass Doolan last lap!
