Comments: Hughes will don black & white for the first tactical ride of the night. It was tough for Hughes being in gate 4 with Herne alongside in gate 3. Great ride from Webster to keep Hughes at bay.

Heat 14: Rerun : Cockle, Starke, Gough ; 3-3 ; 48-39 ; 55.1
Line Up: Cockle, Day, Starke, Gough

Heat 15: Herne, Simmonds, Hughes, Burrows (exc) ; 3-3; 51-42; 52.3
Line-up: Herne, Burrows, Hughes, Simmonds
Comments: Plymouth won the toss and take 1&3. The heat will be rerun. Burrows bike packed up at the start & couldn't clear the bike in time. MVP thinks it was a chain as there were sparks everywhere. Burrows excluded. At the second time of asking it was an unsatisfactory start, MVP thinks Herne anticipated the start. Herne wasn't going to be beaten again by Simmonds. Fast ride.
