Heat Results
Heat 01: Iversen, Harris, Bridger, Summers 2-4
Comments: Summers R/R.
Peterborough miles clear at bend 2. Harris finally decided when miles last that the throttle goes on as well as off, caught Bridger and went under him going into the last lap. Iversen faultless.

Heat 02: Sweetman, Sitera, Jakobsen 5-1
Comments: Sweetman went right out the start and elbowed Jakobsen. All 4 back. Slashing down.
Buckathingamejig EF. Super from the Bees out the gate as Sweetman gives himself a 12 point Bees average.
Sponsored by Steve Dixon www.stevedixonphotography.co.uk [/b]
Delay, absolutely slashing it down.
Heat 03: Bjerre, Barker, Ostergaard 2-4
Comments: Kennett barely made the start with engine trouble. Shouldn't have bothered, didn't make bend 1. Barker under Ostergaard bend 3, lap 1 in a move that was going to end with both of them in the fence or a pass. It was the latter.

Heat 04: Batchelor, Sitera, Schlein, Buczkowski 3-3
Comments: Batchelor won by a country mile to ensure a strop free opener. Bees engaged in the most pointless and, on this track, dangerous team riding ever.
Sponsored by Friends of Edinburgh Speedway www.foes.info/
Heat 05: Iversen, Kennett, Bridger, Barker 2-4
Comments: Painful watching Barker flail around at the back when the only place to ride is an inch from the white line. Iversen again faultless.

Heat 06: Batchelor, Harris, Sitera, Jakobsen 3-3
Comments: Sitera R/R.
Really pleased for Troy after all his bike problems at the Brandonapolis, that he's finished 2 races. Harris all over Troy but the track is essentially a metre wide.

Heat 07: Schlein, Ostergaard, Bjerre, Sweetman 3-3

Comments: Barker knocked Kennett off on bend 2. Kennett discluded. Jakobsen not under power, but not discluded!
Jakobsen now discluded under 2 minutes. Going off 15 metres.
Rather embarassingly, Klaus had caught Barker by the end. Oh dear.
