Comments: Wasps gated together but Jones got out of shape 2nd bend which allowed Davies to get into 2nd.

Line Up: Aspegren Kurtz, Gjedde, Hefenbrock, Masters
Comments: Aspegren Excluded for missing 2 minutes, bike packed up at start, got it going again then his chain came off. Todd Kurtz replaces him. Great by Gjedde there, Somerset riders gated on a 5-1, Masters tried to team ride with Hefenbrock but Hefenbrock was so slow going into the bends, and down the backstraight lap 2, Masters went up the inside of Hefenbrock, Gjedde followed him through, then Gjedde passed Masters out of bend 4 same lap, great race

Comments: Unsatisfactory start all 4 back. What a race! Gjedde almost round the lot coming out of bend 2 but not quite round Masters. Gjedde then tried outside bend 3 same lap but almost got binned by Masters, Gjedde hit the fence but managed to stay on and then gained ground on Masters, Gjedde passed him on the outside last lap bend 2! Great stuff
